While the pop princess is in the middle of her 13th tour, we countdown the top five costumes from her previous shows.

Thought! Looking to greatly upgrade the bland design with my trusty branding. Ideas concerning the appearance at https://barbkirkham.com? Certainly a magnificent addiction counseling service in Burlington online if ever wanted within the whole Ontario region. Leave an opinion. Appreciate it!

I make it no secret that Kylie Minogue is my favourite person on earth; she is a pop music legend who has worked hard for almost 30 years to get to where she is. For those who don't know 'where she is', she's sold 80 million albums globally, won 16 ARIA awards, 3 Brits and a Grammy not to mention performing for millions of people around the world live!

Kylie is in the middle of her highly anticipated 13th world tourKiss Me Once,in support of her 12th studio album by the same name and while I haven't seen it yet, the outfits I've seen her sporting in Instagram posts are some of her best ones yet. Of course she has collaborated with Dolce and Gabbanna, again but on top of that she wears outfits by John Paul Gaultier and Welsh designer, Julien MacDonald.

The other day I was listening to theKiss Me Once album and took some time to think about how us Australians have to wait till March 2015 to see theKMO tour sigh so to try and fill the time, I went through her past tours and thought about the extraordinary outfits this lucky lucky lucky girl has worn by some incredible designers. Dolce and Gabbana, John Paul Gaultier, Chanel, John Galliano, Manolo Blahnik just to name a few.Narrowing down the top five costumes out of 12 incredible tours wasn't easy and not all of them are even by some big shot designer, but here are Kylie's top five tour looks.

Number 5: American Kylie

2008/9 saw Kylie travel across the globe to promote her highly talked about albumX. X marked Kylie's first album since battling breast cancer in 2005 and to celebrate she began a tour which eventually grossed over $100 million (AUD) in ticket sales. The main tour, KylieX 2008visited everywhere from across Europe to South America, Africa, Asia and of course Australia but didn't visit North America, angering fans. So, later in 2009 Kylie announced she would tour North America for the first time in her career, booking dates in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Canada under the new nameFor you,F or me.The new tour featured a very similar set list toKylieX 2008but the main difference we're the costumes. For the American tour, Kylie wore costumes primarily designed by John-Paul Gaultier which she hand picked herself at his Autumn/Winter 2009/10 runway show during Fashion Week in July. The most stunning and noteworthy being this silver corset she wore for the first few songs, featuring a metallic head piece which in my opinion looks a lot better on Kylie, on stage than the model on a runway.

Number 4: D&G Kylie

Kylie has been associated with Dolce and Gabbana for over 10 years, most prominently the designing for every costume used in her 2010 Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour, the biggest one yet playing over 75 dates across every continent. The stand out Dolce and Gabbana outfit from this tour has got to be this gorgeous black feather skirt worn during the third section of the show duringCupid Boy, Spinning Around, Get Out Of My Way and What Do I Have To Do?.The'grandness' of the skirt and corset made this outfit one of Kylie's hardest to get into during the 45 second intro to the song and required a record seven people to assist in stringing it all together before literally pushing her onto the stage while she caught her breath. Dolce and Gabbana really are incredible aren't they?

Number 3: Chanel Kylie

In 2005 Kylie embarked on herShowgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour, unfortunately half way through the tour she was diagnosed with breast cancer and forced to cancel the rest of the tour. 18 months later she resumed the tour by the new nameShowgirl: The Homecoming Tour. When she resumed the tour she made sure her costumes we're twice as magnificent and beautiful as the firstShowgirl.Enter Chanel couture. This red gown by Chanel was worn by Kylie after the short interval in the show as she is risen above the audience sitting on a jeweled moon singingSomewhere Over The Rainbow.Themost shocking thing about this dress is not it's worth, but the fact that when Kylie received it, it was too long for her short figure so her costume designer had to cut it with regular scissors rather than send it back to Chanel for tailoring due to the time restraints. This gown became so iconic that it is what Kylie's 3rd wax work at Madame Tussauds in London wore a replica of. (Fun fact: Kylie has more wax works than anyone else at Madame Tussauds London, besides Queen Elizabeth)

Number 2: QueenKylie

In the early 2000s Kylie was on top of the world. She had just finished her 2001On a Night Like Thistour in support of her 7th album,Light YearswhenCan't Get You Out Of My Head became a global sensation, going number 1 in over 4o countries. In 2002 Kylie embarked on herKylie Fever 2002tour, in support of her latest albumFever (Which on top of Can't Get You Out Of My Head produced worldwide hitsLove at First Sight, In Your Eyesand the Grammy award winningCome Into My World). The first costume Kylie wore for during the opening is what her creative director says resembles both a Doctor Who'faceless being' and the borg from Star Trek. The idea was to make Kylie appear as a Queen to the audience, rising from the earth in a silver casing (left) and then to be revealed in the crystal bikini as the casing unfolds. The designer and builder of the borg outfit, Johnny Rocket, was given the brief that Kylie had to look incredibly sexy and untouchable to both the dancers and the audience while wearing what appeared to be metal but was really embossed plastic.

Number 1: Showgirl Kylie

Kylie's opening to both Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour(left- 2005)andShowgirl: The Homecoming Tour(right- 2006)saw her emerge in a beautiful outfit centred around a corset made by Mr. Pearl through John Galliano on top of a feathered hat and skirt by Stephen Jones, a UK based milliner. The blue outfit on the left worn during the opening of the first tour took 80 hours to make as each crystal was individually sewn on by hand and the pink one on the right is reportedly worth over $50 000.

There you have it! Kylie's top five tour outfits, do you agree? disagree? let us know below.

P.S I know, true Kylie fans are probably thinking, "what about all the ones from her tours during the eighties and nineties?" Yes, they we're iconic too but let's not forget what Kylie has said over and over until her 2001On A Night Like Thistour her mum was making most of her costumes. I didn't think it was fair to compare those homemade legends to these thousand dollar design gowns.
